Dive Academy Gran Canaria

Dive Academy Gran Canaria is the only 5 Star Instructor Development dive resort on the island with its own private training pool. They offer a full range of courses from one day beginner to instructor levels. All courses are run to your personal needs, with a maximum of 2 students to 1 instructor. This means that the instructor will be able to cater the course to your requirements.

When you learn to scuba dive with them, you will be able to practice the basics of diving in the safety of their training pool, before heading off to the sea for some amazing dives. Courses can be from half day to 4 days. On completing the course you will be registered with Padi and will receive a certification for your achievement. Padi is the largest and most respected Scuba Diving training agencies in the world. This means your licence will be recognised all around the world.

If you already have a diving licence, then why not join them on their daily diving trips? They are the only dive centre to offer diving to all the dive sites on Gran Canaria, including the El Cabron marine reserve, Sardina del Norte, boat diving in the south and wreck diving in Las Palmas. They have their own private fully equipped 8m boat, with easy access from Arguineguin harbour. Local divers are also welcome, and if you are a frequent diver, then you will be able to take advantage of the local club dive prices.

If you have not brought your equipment on holiday with you, then you can rent full equipment including computers and cameras. If you did bring your own equipment, then it can be left at the dive centre during you holiday. Either way the staff will wash off your equipment and make sure that it is assembled and ready for you on the next day of diving.

Dive Academy offers a FREE mini bus service from and back to your hotel on the days that you are diving with them. This is at your convenience, so when you want to return back to your hotel just ask, so you do not have to wait endlessly when you can be enjoying the sunshine back at your hotel.

When you come to join them, all you need to bring with you is your swimming costume, a towel, a smile, and they will take care of everything else.

Non-divers are also welcome at the dive centre. While the others are diving, they can take advantage of the pool to relax and enjoy the Gran Canaria sunshine.

Safety is of the upmost importance at Dive Academy. All their staff are Emergency First Responder trained and full safety equipment including oxygen and defibrillators are always available.

Dive Academy also has received a certificate of excellence from PADI, for their continuous innovation and results.
